Today we're celebrating our sophomores who finished up a strong second year in the college ranks!
We had several alums awarded some serious postseason accolades, starting with Olivia Pirano (SUNY Albany) who had a great season for the Danes as a starter and was named to the America East All-Conference First Team. Liv Rauicci (SUNY Geneseo) also had a big year scoring 7 goals for the Knights, was named SUNYAC Rookie of the year, and awarded United Soccer Coaches Region Third Team honors.
Ianah Mackey (Manhattan College), Margot Nezaj (SUNY Albany), Emily Bini (University of New Hampshire), Gabbi Daumont (Utica College), and Sofia D'Angleo (SUNY Brockport) were all starters this season while Emily Drake (Iona College), Kyla Burns (Temple University), Megan Hart (SUNY Albany), Sofia Cassano (Bryant University), Ally Ross (SUNY Geneseo), Meg Piser (Union College), Mo Robinson (Assumption College), and Olivia Maltbie (Babson College) all made significant contributions and/or made several starts.
Finally, Isabella O’Clair of The College of Saint Rose, has advanced to the NCAA Division II Elite 8 today with a 3-0 win today. Congratulations to all of our super sophomores and good luck in the next round to The College of Saint Rose!
